It’s now become something of a tradition: for the third year running, Paul Mulder, Theo Scholten and Johan Hendriks are organising a ‘Deutscher Abend’ at De Lantaern. On Saturday evening, 31 October, the focus will be on the finest songs from over 50 years of Unterhaltungsmusik. Songs by artists including Vicky Leandros, Udo Jürgens, Heino, Elvis (!) and Marlene Dietrich will be performed in a style all of their own. Anyone who’s been to one of the previous events knows what to expect: a feast of familiar tunes, plenty of humour and a brilliant atmosphere. You won’t want to miss it, because: ‘Being there is everything!’
