‘Arnhem, Mijn Stadje!’ by the Arnhem Promenade Orchestra

The Arnhem Promenade Orchestra has a soft spot for the city of Arnhem. Indeed, its concerts have always taken place here. The concerts on 17 and 18 October 2026 at Musis Arnhem are therefore entitled ‘Arnhem, my little town’. Not least because the conductor, Peter Smits, and the majority of the musicians are from Arnhem.

The Arnhem Promenade Orchestra takes its audience on a musical tour of the city of Arnhem. Together, they take a musical journey through various locations, past and present, with music ranging from popular to classical. The music is performed by 60 musicians, including soloists and a pipes and drums ensemble: Eric Mesie (vocals), Vladyslava Nabutovska (Ukrainian violinist), Nastya Sulymenko (singer from Ukraine) and Pegasus Pipes & Drums.
Free cloakroom and an interval drink are included.
‘Arnhem, my town’ is a unique musical journey, an introduction to and experience of Arnhem.
