Airborne Airborne Landings and Commemoration

On Saturday 18 September 2027, we will commemorate the 1944 Airborne landings.

Every year, this is marked by a drop of military paratroopers and a moment of remembrance at the Airborne monument.

Commemorate and relive
During the Airborne Landings and Commemoration, we honour the brave soldiers who fought for our freedom 82 years ago. We do this together with the 11th Airmobile Brigade. On this day, we reflect on how precious our peace and security are. In keeping with tradition, this year will once again feature a military airdrop and a wonderful programme for young and old alike.

The Airborne Airlandings and Commemoration is part of Airborne Ede Month.
